Specializing in fingerstyle steel-string acoustic and

Nate has performed throughout the seacoast area in numerous musical projects over the last 15 years, most notably the acoustic-based rock band Blind Harpers (bass/guitar/background vocals), hip-hop studio group Five Three Federation (music/production), roots-rock-reggae band Square One (lead guitar/background vocals), and folk duo Stumbling Blind (vocals, guitar). He has also made several appearances on Portsmouth, NH’s WXGR 101.5 FM as an accompanying and improvisational acoustic guitarist.
As a guitar instructor, Nate aims to identify and accommodate each student’s unique learning style, building his or her understanding of the guitar (and music itself) in an individualized, enjoyable and rewarding way. His approach to teaching is flexible and enthusiastic, and holds a consistent focus on developing the delicate balance of “know-how” and creative expression that is musicianship.
